Hasan Kalyoncu University hosted an important event in line with its vision of raising future architects and civil engineers with earthquake awareness. Within the scope of the "Earthquake Resistant Building Design Competition" organized by the Earthquake Insurance Institution (DASK), students were given the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills, which would contribute greatly to their success in the industry. In the seventh edition of the competition, building models designed by students were evaluated in terms of earthquake resistance, and the winners were awarded. The event was attended by the Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, as well as top executives of the university. This competition aims to provide students with experience in designing earthquake-resistant structures and to train qualified and conscious engineers for the industry.
